This property was really terrific. Great location and access to the lake, and the house was very comfortable and clean. Our entire group (14 people) enjoyed the experience and every one of them would love to be there again. Also, hosts were always responsive and available if we needed anything. It was perfect for us and would definitely stay there again

We had an amazing time at Lake Ranch. We had four couples and two children, and there was so much space for all of us. The home is very comfortable, well stocked, and it was a perfect location for the wedding we attended this weekend. We used the sauna and hot tub and sat on the dock admiring the lake. We ate eggs from the chickens and the goats and horses came over several times to say hi. There was a huge comfy living room, but honestly, we never left the small sitting area looking out over the backyard or the firepit at night. I even used the well stocked gym one morning! I would definitely recommend if you have a large group. It was everything we needed for our weekend!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay in this absolutely beautiful lake house! We spent the entire Christmas week here and had family that came in from Colorado, North Carolina, Texas (my immediate family) and some of our family are local and were able to stay with us or just stop in and visit. The house was decorated beautifully and felt magical when we walked in. I was apprehensive about not having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at home but all that vanished when I saw that the Christmas spirit was there too - in full force! We had a full sized tree to place our gifts under and a mid sized tree next to a white brick fireplace wall that created a really pretty backdrop for family photos. There was also Christmas lighting throughout the kitchen, the dining room and the (giant!) family room. The kids enjoyed the game room/weight room (ping pong, basketball, foosball) and the older guys really appreciated the use of dumbbells and a full weight rack (perfect for squats and bench press). The hot tub fit 5 comfortably and the sauna was especially nice with the chilly weather. Everyone looked forward to visiting the animals everyday. We were able to feed the horses and goats apples and carrots and even collected fresh chicken eggs in the morning. We were very surprised the chickens were still laying eggs in the winter but they were! The kitchen was well stocked with all of the dishes and cookware we needed to prepare many large family meals and even has 2 dishwashers which was so helpful with all of the family we had off and on. There was also a 2nd refrigerator for us to use in the garage (just need to plug in). My biggest reservation when I travel is will I sleep well because I LOVE my bed at home. I was so surprised and happy to find that the beds were all so clean and comfortable. I did get feedback from my family in other rooms because I want them to sleep good too. Everyone slept well and we also were grateful to have hot water for showers at all times! We didn’t do much on the lake but really appreciated the view and how easy it was to get to the dock (which included seating, hammocks and surround sound). We also had access to canoes and kayaks but chose not to go out with so many other things to do to stay warm- including the fire pit that everyone enjoyed for both the heat and the smores! We were 15 minutes from the Publix grocery store (where we did our initial grocery run) and 20 minutes from the Mall of Georgia and all of the millions of stores and strip shopping centers you find nearby. We were also just 4 miles (10 minutes) from a Walmart and Wells Fargo. A large group even had breakfast at the Waffle House which was less than a 2 minute drive. There are lots of local restaurants and the people in the area were all super friendly (we felt like we were transported to Canada - ha!). The Mexican food was fantastic and we will definitely be visiting Little Italy next time we are here. My brother and sister-in-law are crazy about their lasagna. To be continued… We look forward to staying in this lake house again in the summer which I’m sure will offer an equally great experience and more fun memories to come!

Our family came together to celebrate my 65th Birthday & this home allowed us to enjoy our time with each other. We brought our pontoon with us & it was a treat to be able to dock it & have time on it as well. Highly recommend this property & location to all things Lake Lanier.

We traveled with two other families with kids ranging from 4-8. We had a wonderful time and the host, Joy, was very helpful with any questions we had during our stay. The location was quiet and perfect to get places quickly while we were on the lake.
